Helideck Friction Testing
Ensuring the safety of helideck landing areas is critical for offshore operations. Gecric Integrity’s trained personnel conduct comprehensive helideck assessments in accordance with the UK Civil Aviation Authority’s (UKCAA) CAP 437 standards, utilizing the Micro GripTester to measure surface friction. This device provides accurate, continuous friction measurements, essential for maintaining safe helicopter landing conditions. Regular friction testing is mandated under CAP 437 to ensure helidecks meet safety requirements. By adhering to these standards and employing advanced testing equipment, Gecric Integrity enhances the safety and reliability of helideck operations.
Helideck Lighting Installation
Remote visual inspection is a non-destructive testing technique that employs the use of remotely operated cameras and crawlers to assess the integrity of components and infrastructure in areas that are too dangerous or remote for direct human intervention. Tubes and Pipeline ranging from ½ inch and above can be inspected with our modern borescope camera well up to 50 meters of length.
